Security Fencing
The
last Leaders Meeting approved a security upgrade, something that has
been under discussion for some time. It was felt that the time has now
come to put talk into action to secure people and vehicle safety
(another vehicle was recently stolen during a week day meeting). The
proposal will be as unobtrusive as possible so that Valley still retains
a welcoming and inviting appearance.
We are investigating the following:
-
Steel palisade fencing from the office block around to the garden of remembrance, with two sliding vehicle gates.
-
Steel palisade fencing from the courtyard at the glass front door, to Ben Swart Street, and then down the road to the vehicle gate at the end of the parking lot.
The front and side of the church where the garden is will remain open to
reduce the harsh impart of the security fencing. Should you have ideas
or concerns please speak to the leaders and staff as soon as possible.
