Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth. Like the loving deer and pleasant doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times, and be ravished always with her love. Prov 5:18,19.

A few months ago I asked from the Lord: "Please give me joy, life's pressures are weighing me down so much. Life just feels like a tired drudgery day after day I just can't bear it any longer!" So after a few weeks really pleading with God about this, I felt Him say to me: "I have already given you all you need to have the joy you so eagerly want - your wife and your children. It is up to you to find this joy."

One night while laying awake I believe God put in my mind the idea of "The Christian Couples Club" The "club" not being a group of people, but a place, like a night club. This club is a place of safety where Christian Couples can come and celebrate life together. You would be able to spend quality time in the company of your spouse with good music in the background and other happy couples around.

You would have the best food in town -just the way you like it, because you would have prepared it yourself especially for your spouse, and brought it along in a basket, all very romantic in the dim candlelight. You will be dressed just the way you feel comfortable to impress the one you love most.

There is a large dancing floor where you can dance the night away (anyway you want) because it will be only you and your spouse (and some other happy couples around).

Marraiage with pressures of children, work and the rush of Gauteng can really take the spark out of many good relationship intentions, with the dreariness being aggravated by no real nice safe place to go just to let your hair down a bit. This is why we have decided to start "The Christian Couples Club".

A small part of the evening (10 minutes or so) will be used to present one basic biblical principle of Christian marriage, just for you to check if you still are on the right track.

Dating couples are also welcome. We are planning to run the CCC once a month for church members and any of their friends. We have not yet planned the detail of the CCC, so if any of you feel called to assist with this project or can
