Rustig Hiking Trail - 25 June 2005
Rustig is a resort situated near Hekpoort on the southern slopes of the Magaliesberg mountain range. There are several route alternatives and the trails are well marked and maintained. The resort offers bar facilities, braai facilities and a lovely swimming pool, all within beautifully maintained grounds.
The imposing Magaliesberg mountains form a backdrop to the farm and beckon the hiker to come and explore. The views from the top of the mountain are quite superb. There are also remains of old Boer War placements.
