Developed
by Friends of Ezemvelo Nature, The Penduka Hiking Trail is a
beautiful trail and relatively easy to walk. It is within easy
reach of Pretoria.
The trail starts from the Wilge River parking area and begins with an
easy walk across grasslands where there is opportunity normally, to
observe some of the wild game species that makes this reserve so
special. As one nears the gorge, so the rock formations become
more spectacular.
The way down the gorge passes a beautiful cascade of water. The
route along the gorge passes some lovely rock formations. There
are also rock pools to rest by and ponder the tranquility of the
beautiful setting.
