WELCOME:
With whom do you enjoy spending time with more, family or friend, and how?
WORSHIP:
Pray a prayer of invocation, a prayer of confession and then the Lord’s Prayer. Share in a love feast together. Close by singing; “Bind us together,” or another appropriate song.
WORD:
Judges 7; 1-2; Eph 4; 1-6; John 17; 10-15.
1. Give examples from scripture on the theme of unity! From these examples explain how important or insignificant unity is to God.
2. What challenges to unity have you experienced in your life?
3. How does scripture, and your experience, encourage us to overcome the obstacles to unity.
4. In your experience and from scripture, what is the result of powerful unity?
WITNESS:
Concentrate on an area of your life where there is disunity and work toward resolving conflict and misunderstanding. Do the same in your work environment as an involved member of staff or as a mediator.
