Name your favourite mystery author, movie, or series.
WORSHIP:
Slowly read Eph 3: 16-19 several times. Silently reflect on the magnitude of the love of God and allow yourself to be immersed in this love. Sing (listen to) “How Great is our God” or other songs reflecting God’s amazing love!
WORD: Eph 3: 1-21
1. How would you compare Paul’s mission to share the mystery of the gospel of Christ with your own passion to share the gospel?
2. How can we share the good news of the gospel in such a way that people really hear it?
3. Paul mentions the words “love” and “power” 3x each (v14-21). In what specific ways do you see God’s love and power in your life and in the life of your church?
4. To what extent has Paul’s prayer (v14-21) been answered in a) your own life b) in the life of the church?
What can you do to open yourself up to more of God’s love?
WITNESS:
Using Paul’s prayer as a guide, spend time writing a prayer for the people in your cell group. Alternatively write a prayer for the people of VMC. Share your prayers with the group or approach Alan/ Terry for a timeslot for your group to share their congregational prayer with the wider congregation.
